It seems that no matter what kind of relationship you're in there's always a debate. We as humans get elected quite often. How many times have you put in a bid to be the BEST friend or transition from the friend zone to girlfriend or lover.
Last night, I'm watching the State of the Union address and I'm thinking... How many times in relationships have I had to give my state of the union? How many times have I had to tell someone kmy plan? My goals? My ideas? Where we are and where I see us going?
For example, with my mother, every once in a while I have to remind her that she means the world to me. That I make mistakes but I've never tried to be a fuck up. Mostly her birthday and Mother's day. BUT it gets deeper.
In friendship, especially with me and RNP, I have to remind her that she's the best ever. That I love her unconditionally. That we don't have to agree on everything BUT we are super friends. I'd like to think I'm going to be in her wedding cause she's going to be in mine.
Giving the whole moving forward we're going to XYZ is always strange. But it's necessary.
So when you tell me you don't like politics think about how political you are in daily life...
